Laser Edit
Laser editing is a fully immersive editing experience where you can click on a feature to change parameters or make other adjustments and below is a summary of the main features.
Start by clicking on a tooled areas of a checked-out part which will display a dialog box of possible options these cover but are not limited to.
- Laser Cut which has the key options for the direction of the cut, the ability to delete the cut along with changing the pierce and condition (type) of the cut.
- Approach will allow you to manually change the default lead-in length, radius and angle.
- Withdraw has similar options like the lead-in but is used for the laser escape of the cut.
- Micro joint will allow you to manually add a micro joint to a laser cut feature whilst also setting a width.
Contour Tab
The Contour tab has options for deleting the selected contour, copy which will copy the selected feature to other similar contours.
Micro joints will allow you to manually add, reduce (remove) or delete all micro joints in the selected item.
Scrap will allow you to add scrap / destruction cuts to the selected contour.
Part Tab (From Contour)
Part Tab has options to allow you to insert a manual laser cut or a laser mark.
You can also fully move the lead-ins on the attached part by clicking on them and dragging to a new location.
