Machine Defaults

Next we will look at the configuration for machine defaults

Here we will look the main areas of CUT CAM and LASER CAM options which are found by left clicking on a machine from the Factory, Routes section and then clicking on the Machine Defaults option.

Cut CAM

• Automatic micro joint assignment
• Nesting options and rules
• Default sheet setup
• Sheet handling options
• Skeleton cuts for sheet destruction and remnant marking
• Work support where you can configure the slat positions on the laser bed.

Laser CAM

• General cutting and special feature processing rules.
• Sequence optimization and hazard avoidance.
