Sequence and Grouping

Typical bend editing consists of changing the sequence or replacing a tool.

Bend sequencing can be changed 1 of two ways either using the edit sequence option or using the bend status bar.

Clicking on the + sequence icon you will see the preview reverts to a flat unfolded view of the part and for each bend you will see a number that indicates the current sequence, If bends are grouped then they will share the same sequence number with a suffix like a,b,c to show the individual bend.

Clicking on any of the sequence numbers will colour it green and will reset the sequence number to 1, 2, 3 to indicate the order that you are clicking on the bends.

In some cases, the bend sequence will be prevented from being changed if it causes an invalid bend sequence and a warning will be displayed on the bottom left of the screen.

Grouped bends can be dissolved into single bends by clicking on the bend line where the group of bends is located and then clicking on the ungroup option at which point the grouped bends will all be assigned individual bend sequence numbers.

Bends that share the same bend line can also be grouped by holding down the shift key and clicking on the bend lines to select them and then clicking on the group option.
