Now we will look at the Material Mapping for CAM Pages, which is a process where the material names can be mapped to a specific CAM material for a machine.

Starting in Praxis we need to navigate to Factory, Sheets and click on the map option and from here select CAM pages.

The display will show a list of machines and available materials on the left and on the right will be a list of the available CAM technology pages by machine.

As you select a machine and material combination then the available options will be displayed on the right.

Note: When working with multiple machine installations you should always pick from the CAM technology for your selected machine.

To map the material firstly click on the material and thickness on the left side of the screen and then click to select the corresponding CAM technology on the right-side list. Once these are selected then you can click on the assign button.

The mapping display also colour codes the entries so any material thickness that is Green is successfully mapped any material thickness in amber is not mapped.

Once you have mapped the materials click on the close button and the configuration will be updated.
